Meet our founder, Mark Martin

Mark Martin, our lead instructor and founder, brings 25 years of frontline experience as a registered medic in NHS, hostile environments, and private services. He established Medic Safety Training after witnessing firsthand how a lack of basic first aid knowledge tragically cost lives. Holding a CTLLS Award in Education and Training, Mark is dedicated to making first aid achievable and accessible for everyone.

Our commitment to professional training

At Medic Safety, we believe in providing a professional and safe learning environment led by experienced instructors. Our team, including Senior Instructor Darryl Cook, is dedicated to ensuring you feel confident and competent in critical situations.

Darryl spent 10 years in the ambulance service and as a close protection Tier 2 medic before transitioning into training. His calm, encouraging style helps even the most nervous learners feel at ease. He specialises in emergency first aid and fire safety.
